Amy Grant to perform at Nashville Rising
Though superstar couple Amy Grant and Vince Gill have already donated $150,000 to flood relief efforts, Grant has also agreed to perform at the Nashville Rising benefit concert tonight with Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Miley Cyrus and more.
Nashville Rising will be held at the city’s Bridgestone Arena, and the money will benefit the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
Middle Tennessee–including Nashville–was ravaged by floods in May, killing roughly 20 people and affecting thousands more. The floods came after a record-breaking storm that dumped more than 12 inches in two days. One of Nashville’s greatest attractions–The Grand Ole Opry–was also flooded.
